Annie Coleman, Managing Broker
Annie developed her passion for buildings spending part of her childhood living in a Frank Lloyd Wright house on his block in Oak Park. That experience developed her admiration for the importance of how spaces function, flow, and other thoughtful design choices. She began her real estate career in 2005 after gut renovating a 6 flat, where LivingRoom’s office is, in Noble Square. This process gave her an in-depth knowledge (and a few grey hairs) about buildings from the inside out. She founded LivingRoom Realty during the the real estate market crash of 2008. In the midst of the turmoil her Step-Father gave her the sage advice ‘to go your own way and do what you love’. It’s been a real joy in Annie’s life to manage LivingRoom Realty. She loves helping clients, working with her awesome team, developing and hosting events, and steering the business to continue to grow in new and creative ways. Prior to real estate Annie was a project manager implementing global technology projects. She has a BM in Music Business and Bassoon performance. Annie is a musician and has a honky tonk dance band (goldenhorseranch.com), ceramicist, and loves spending time with her partner on their property outside of Viroqua Wisconsin.
Elizabeth Dudek, Broker
Before finding her true calling as a real estate professional, Elizabeth collected a skill set uniquely designed to produce a very well-rounded Realtor®. She combines experience as a computer consultant, education in interior design & an extensive background as a real estate assistant for a downtown law office. The result is a relationship-based Realtor® able to bring knowledge, experience, resources & enthusiasm to her clients. She ably assists buyers & sellers in understanding the complexities of the real estate process at every step. In addition, Elizabeth never forgets that her clients lead active lives outside of real estate & is obliging & flexible to the ever-changing needs & schedules of her clients.
Elizabeth considers herself to be a bit of a Renaissance woman who has enjoyed traveling since she was in the womb (literally). She has dabbled in many careers but her most memorable was as a singing waitress aboard a ship. She loves animals and has 2 cats and 1 dog as roommates and lives in a half duplex in West Bucktown.
Sarah Frier, Broker
Sarah Frier found herself interested in real estate after a background in design lead her to the door of her Ukrainian Village fixer-upper. With the help of her family, friends and a patient contractor she gut renovated an entire two flat — living there all the while! After completing that life changing project Sarah decided to use her now vast knowledge of home renovation by helping others fulfill their dreams of home ownership.
Sarah is a graduate of both Harrington College of Design and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. After several years working on large scale education and health care projects for one of America’s largest contract furniture dealers she took up a career drafting real estate (a job that literally took her to almost every neighborhood in Chicago!). When an opportunity to be a part of the community at LivingRoom arose she jumped at the chance. Aside from her Real Estate activities, Sarah is also proud to mind the gallery and help bring interesting and innovative people in for exhibits, performances, lectures and more!
Sarah has also been a DJ for well over ten years and plays regularly at clubs all around Chicago.
Prior to becoming a Broker Susannah spent a decade working in the Chicago art world. With a bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Chicago, where she specialized in architectural history, and an M.S. in Architectural Preservation from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Susannah is well-versed in the language of buildings, and is passionate about their history and care. In her years as as an art gallery manager, she developed an eye for aesthetics, a thrill for matching clients with the artworks they love, and the detail-oriented ability to calmly walk them through the purchase process – all skills she brings to her work as a real estate broker.
A native of the Washington, D.C. area, Susannah is a 15-year resident of Chicago’s South and Southwest Sides. She and her husband now live in a classic Chicago Bungalow in the lakeside community of South Shore with their pitbull mix, Georgia.
Kate Paris, Broker
Kate’s favorite pastimes as a child included dragging her dad to open houses and making scale drawings of her bedroom and furniture to plan rearrangement. Somehow, she missed her original calling to real estate, taking a circuitous route via a number of other vocations. She has worked in business operations at a mid-century modern furniture dealer, creative direction and marketing at a record label and most recently, software project management at a Fortune 50 company in the advertising technology industry.
In the years since moving to Chicago to attend DePaul University, Kate has lived in 3 dorms, 6 apartments, 1 storefront, 1 loft and 2 single family homes. Those spaces included a garden apartment, a 17th floor corner unit with floor to ceiling windows, an 1800 sq ft open floor plan loft, a few Chicago greystones, a storefront with 4 boys, 2 cats, a giant PA system and no kitchen, and most recently, a single family 1965 ranch in Logan Square that she renovated with her husband. One of Kate’s true passions is understanding physical spaces and how people live in them, showcase their work and personality in them, and build community around them.
Kate’s love for real estate is fueled by both her childhood passion for homes and living spaces and her adult drive to enable people to flourish. She is honored to be an advocate for buyers and sellers and to help guide them through one of the biggest decisions of their lives. Kate’s main goals in her career are to provide professional, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth service to anyone looking for a home or a home-base for a business or project that inspires them to be their best selves.
Rebecca is a Chicago native living on the South Side in the Pilsen neighborhood with her family for the last 9 years. Prior to that she lived in the South Loop for an additional 10 years. Despite her love of the near South Side, she appreciates her North Side roots in Ravenswood Manor where she grew up and her parents still reside. Her experience as a Chicago denizen for the past 40 years has given her a great appreciation for the diversity in buildings, homes, and character the expanse of Chicago neighborhoods has to offer. She believes there truly is a great fit for each homeowner or tenant out there!
Residential real estate is a natural segue for Rebecca after spending 8 years as an assistant to a real estate investor consulting on building purchases, remodels, and tenant selection. In addition, Rebecca has managed several large scale rehabs and brings an extensive knowledge of the ins and outs of construction and remodeling projects as added value to her clients.
A few of Rebecca’s passions include spending time with her family, cooking, and grabbing those few and far between spare moments to catch up on a good book!
