We are so excited about this event! Have you ever wondered how to go about getting a community project started in the City? Or have you ever wondered how to help the Polish Triangle (the nickname of the park at Division, Milwaukee & Ashland housing the Division Blue Line stop) shine as brightly as it should? Well, part of what makes a space great is you!
From a park bench to an entire park, a fountain to a food truck, urban planning effects us all. The process of Placemaking and the resources of the Metropolitan Planning Council are there to help you get your ideas heard. We are excited to have Eleanor Mayer from the MPC joining us to present the different ways you can get involved!
And to kick off the night we are also very pleased to welcome Jan Lorys, Director of The Polish Museum of America for a special peek into the past of the Polish Triangle and its place in the history of Chicago.
So mark those calenders for Wednesday, October 27th from 7-9PM at LivingRoom for an evening that is sure to inform and entertain!
