Obamathon Salon Results!

We’re Obama’s rich!  Let me just say, we know how to throw a FUNdraiser!

We finally tallied up all the dollars and cents and thanks to a great many generous souls we raised a whopping total of $6,636 for the Obama/O’Biden campaign!
Not only that but $4,481 of those dollars were matched by some anonymous donors on Obama’s
web site, so one could say we contributed a total of $11,117!

Thanks again to everyone who donated items, participated, shook their tail feathers, and cleaned up afterwards!

This American Life Does It Again!

This American Life did another great show on explaining our current economic crisis.  It’s more then just the sub-prime mortgage crisis and they break it down for you.

You can listen to it at their website
www.thisamericanlife.org.  It’s episode 365.

If you missed the original episode in May on the sub-prime mortgage crisis click here to listen to it.  They are both really well done.
